The FOSDEM call is open again. Last year, Raman did a talk on PHAIDRA: FOSDEM 2024 - PHAIDRA - A Repository Where Research Data Goes to Live (Not to Die).. How about doing another talk?
Maybe it is an idea to have a stand for one day presenting PHAIDRA: FOSDEM 2025 - FOSDEM 2025 call for stands
Let me know if you have any ideas around this. FOSDEM is always a great event. It is for free, and you have never seen so many techies together.
Whoop whoop, I talked to @rasta about this already and he said he’d be willing to attend. 
We need at least one other person if we want to have a stand (which in my opinion would be a very cool idea)!
Maybe @Matthias could join, he’s our docker expert!

@Matthias sounds good to me. We are going to submit a request for a stand tomorrow. We need to create a compelling project description first 
Without a stand it will probably also be worthwhile to go. Let’s see what devroom there will be. I assume that will be known at the end of this month. Not sure.
Any presence at FOSDEM would be great - a stand would be fantastic - I’d struggle to think of a better place to find some new PHAIDRA users.

I just applied for a stand at FOSDEM. So fingers crossed 
It will take some time before we hear back from that. Closing is in two and a half weeks.

The devrooms for FOSDEM are just announced. I think we have an opportunity to submit a talk for the Open Research track: FOSDEM 2025 - Open Research

From my perspective, it would make sense to submit something on the topic of open data management. Any ideas about that?

We are sorry to tell you that we cannot accept your proposal “PHAIDRA” as a FOSDEM stand. There were a lot of good proposals (202), and only a limited number of stands.
You can still apply to do a talk in one of the accepted devrooms, lightning talk or a BOF. You can find more information at FOSDEM 2025 - Presentations - Call for Participation.
