Hi everyone,
I wanted to ask if it would be possible to open a new dedicated category or tag for community discussions specifically about OER (Open Educational Resources) in PHAIDRA.
It could be a useful space to exchange experiences, best practices, and ideas related to managing and sharing OER within the platform.
In the same spirit, we could later create similar discussion areas for other specific topics, like digitized collections or other focus areas, depending on interest and relevance.
What do you think — would that make sense, and where would be the best place to start such a discussion?

That is a really great idea. If we get more of these specific categories, we can put them under an umbrella category. Would Open Education be the proper name for this category, or is Open Educational Resources you better for this purpose?

Admittedly, this took some time. We had the conference, and internally we have been working on some stuff. I created the category you asked for: OER (Open Educational Resources) - PHAIDRA Community . It seems like a super relevant topic as well for this year, especially. We will surely give it some attention during one of the community calls. I might even ask you to say something about that. Can you start a thread in the OER category/ I am looking forward to driving some of this stuff forward.
